Our Services
Equine Assisted Learning(EAL): EAL is a program where clients come to learn how to form safe, connected relationships with their equine partners; which can then be generalized to their everyday life. They also learn problem solving skills, spatial awareness, body control/regulation, emotional expression, perspective taking, along with many other life skills. We do both work on the ground with the horse and rhythmic riding. Every session is tailored specifically to each client to meet their needs. The horse provides a unique and safe relationship for clients to come and learn socially significant life skills.
Through the partnership with Central Texas Behavioral Solutions(CTBS) we are happy to offer EAL and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with trained and certified:
Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT), Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
If you would like more information on ABA please message us or visit CTBS website.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy(EAP): This is a counseling-based program. You will be partnered with a licensed counselor, or counseling intern; along with an equine partner and equine handler. Here the horses can help with processing trauma, PTSD and other events/relationships that have affected your mental health. Much like the EAL you will work on the ground with your horse learning to form a healthy safe connected relationship with them but what is also offered in the rhythmic riding portion is EMDR…Need type up of EMDR connected to the horses.
Horseback riding lessons: Using Natural Lifemanship principles, Kelly will help you connect with your body and your horse to better develop your riding skills. If you are feeling stuck with your furry friend or maybe just want to try a different approach to your relationship with your horse, then this option might be right for you.
